I am starting a garden want to find out what plants are not susceptible to aphid infestation. Many of my outdoor potted plants have had problems with aphids. Rather than trying to fight them, I would like to grow plants that are just not susceptible to aphid attack. Any suggestions?

We live right beside a small cemetery. My dad wants to plant a vegetable garden just a few feet from this. Everyone says that because the bodies were sealed in vaults and buried several feet deep, that there is no harm in doing this. I am still unsure of the idea. Would it be hazardous to plant a garden so close?

My husband and I are planting a garden for the first time this year. We live in Northwestern California. We would like to do “basic” veggies like tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, squash and cucumber. Any advice appriciated.
