Garden Plant Pots

Some time in the night a possum visits my back garden in Sydney (so not a big garden), knocks over most of the plant pots and eats all the herbs we’ve got planted. Anything we can do to deter it?
I should add that I don’t really want to deter cats… got lots of cats in our neighbourhood and I love them visiting

she’s in the cage every morining, at night we let her lose.
but every night when everyone’s sleeping, she ruins my mom’s plants. she even eat the catus. she breaks the plant pots. mom is getting really mad. what should i do with her to stop from ruining the plants?

is it ok to punish her? but how?

I bought a 4 pack from Sam’s Club. It has Niagara Grape, Jersey Blueberry, Ebony King Blackberry, and Latham Red Raspberry. I need to plant them in pots. Does anyone have any helpful advise. Should I start them in a smaller pot and move them to a bigger pot or should I start them in a big pot. Is it ok to use miracle grow potting soil. I also have some miracle grow garden soil.

I want to do the herbs in containers too. Should I get the plants already started and plant them in the pots, or should I get seeds and plant them in the pots? What about those herb growing kits that come with the seeds that are in these little peat moss pellets? Also, if I want organic herbs does that mean I need to buy organic herb seed or organic herb plant, or will it be organic either way as long as I’m not using chemicals? Thanks! Obviously inexperienced over here…

I’m new to gardening, I’m hosting a wedding in 3 months, I want to make it look pretty. Can I buy the flowers in pots and plant them into my garden? in a border
Are there certain ones I should use?

i dug up some of my perennials and put them in small containers and know i want to plantt them for good.

Please only answer with suggestions that you know actually work.
I’ve tried the citrus thing, the mirror thing and the bottles of water none of them keep the pests out.
I’m going to try one last time before I take the pots and empty them in the owners garden.
Please save me from starting a dipute with my neighbour.

I have spent quite a bit of time and money getting my garden ready for the summer, however local cats etc seem to have taken to digging up my plants.
