Garden Plant Pots

Preferably plants that will grow at the base of a hedge where the cats come and go to the next door property.

I have planted my other perennials outdoors around Memorial Day weekend but I’m wondering if I could plant some outdoors now.

I have a border of day lilies on the back of my house and i want to add a few perennials plants or flowers that mix well with them

and if you like you can throw deciduous and bare rooted plants in too.
i agree with the answer below. i#m having a really rough time writing an assignment because it has to focus on the “differences between” planting all those varieties!

I live in a zone 6-7 (Massachusetts New England), mostly sunny, good drainage, mulch top, soft soil mixed with a clay like soil. I want to plant perennials.

I want to find the right perennials to plant in my yard that are safe for little ones to play around? (Non toxic?) Any websites that have info on plants/pictures/etc?

I want to remove a few perennials and plant strawberries in their place. Will the blueberries and other perennials be compatible if within a few feet and in the same garden patch?

Why do some flowers grow back year after year, whilst others have to be grown fresh from seed each year?

More specifically, when the perennials die, do you mark them so you know where they will sprout up in the spring?

A section of our garden divides our patio from part of our yard making them both small, awkward spaces. We’re looking to remove that section of the garden which contains a variety of perennials and shrubs.

What is the best time of year and way to do this?
