Garden Plant Pots

I just read that everyone keeps them in a pot, but mine in currently in the ground. Is that bad? Should I transfer it to a big pot? I live in Mid-Northern Cali. It has produced nice fruits/peppers already..

my family has started a garden this year and i was wondering what would grow well in southern ca weather. right now, it has been getting pretty hot (and will get a LOT hotter) and the place that we have chosen to plant the garden gets half shade, half sun throughout the day. could u list some fruits or veggies that would grom well in heat!! thanks!

I live in western oregon. This is my first year having a garden. when is the best time to plant a garden for where i live. What fruits and veggies grow the best and which ones dont.
